This is my Rusestii Noi host mom, Mama Tasea. She was such a great host mom. She works non-stop in the capital city of Chisinau (about 20 minutes away by car), and then comes home in the evening to work some more. She is well known for being an incredible cook, which probably accounts for the excess pounds I have found myself gradually padded with. She is also a very sweet and caring woman who made me feel very at home while in the Noi.
