These are some pictures of the land surrounding my house in Rusestii Noi. Almost every family in the villages has a house and land for gardens and small orchards. They live off of the land, and during the warmer months, this makes for beautiful scenery. When I first arrived, it was warm and beautiful, the flowers were still blooming, and I even got to pick grapes in the family owned orchard!!! Grapes are a huge agricultural product in Moldova, and almost every village family owns an orchard and makes their own wine.
