I forgot I had this picture on my computer! This was the group I spent Christmas with. From left going clockwise: Me, Greg, Rok, Andrea, Scott, Dan, Amy and Adam. Chris was taking the picture, I think. Here, we're at a pizza restaurant in Chisinau. I know, not very Moldovan of us, but we figured we'd indulge ourselves in a little American tradition called "going out for pizza" since it was Christmas and all. Yes, I know, also not very Christmasy, but it was fun nonetheless. I'm not sure why I'm not smiling, but I really did have a good time! :) (maybe my mouth was full of food. That would be pretty typical.) For Christmas, we rented three rooms at a hotel, and a lounge area and just enjoyed hanging out and being American. We spoke lots of English, and enjoyed good friends, good food, a little good alcohol, and some good 'ol American movies. Don't worry Mom and Dad, we were good. ;) Greg, Rok, Andrea and Dan were all in my training village of Rusestii Noi during our first two months in Moldova, and I've gotten pretty close with all of them.
