These were the two language teachers for Rusestii Noi. They are both great people and wonderful teachers. I don't think it's bragging to say that we got the best teachers in Peace Corps (although I've heard other villages claiming the same thing). I really enjoyed getting to know these women, and they did a wonderful job teaching us the complexities of the Romanian language. Nina is on the left, and Nata is on the right. This is one of the rare moments when they were able to rest, and I happened to get it in a photo, but usually they were working so hard, that they had no time for themselves. I owe them any success that I have had in speaking Romanian!
