There were actually quite a few crocodiles. They're smaller than their American cousins, alligators, but just as deadly. This one just looks evil, doesn't he? We only saw one rhino, and we were so excited when we actually saw it! It was so calm, and even driving very close to it in the truck didn't phase it. He just kept right on eating. Very cool! Hippos can also be very dangerous animals. Even though they are herbavores, they are unpredictable, and can have quite the temper. I always thought they were big and slow, but apparently they can run pretty fast if they need to, and they are very strong. There were always baboons, and monkeys around. They are very curious animals, and lots of fun to watch. But they're also thieves!! One time at the lodge, a monkey came right up to the table and stole a piece of Jessica's toast! Little criminal! :)
